MLB 2011 Playoffs: Division Series

With insane endings to the long season the is Major League Baseball, we now find ourselves with 8 teams battling for a spot in the Division Championship. I have my picks of who will move on. And for those of you who don't know, this series is a best of 5 match-up. Let's see if I can knock these picks out of the park like Longoria against the Yanks! ;-)

Rays v. Rangers: Sadly I'm gonna go with the Rangers over the Rays. Rays are hot, but that can only last so long against a team with bats like Texas.
Tigers v. Yankees: With a roster like that you can't afford to lose. Oh wait! This is a team that can. I still think that this A-List team will get the job done.
Diamondbacks v. Brewers: Milwaukee is on a hot streak and will keep it going long enough to hold off Arizona.
Cardinals v. Phillies: Phillies have been strong throughout the season. I look to see their winning streak extend through this season.

Week 5: College Football Predictions

Last week I fell behind a little on my predictions getting somewhere south of 70%. This week I am looking to really bounce back. This should be a big week for ranked teams to really assert their dominance and prove that they deserve to be ranked. I do not see many upsets, but the ones that I do have picked may surprise you. Last week I managed to stay pretty consistent with my picks. There were quite a few upsets and unexpected twists. Like Vick's broken...cough cough...bruised wrist. I am still watching for my Colts to pull off the Suck for Luck Win!
